Tuesdays April 24th, & May 8th and 15th
Practice public speaking, explore creative writing, play with words and dialogue and learn how to tell a compelling story. Learn strategies to connect to an audience, practice improv techniques and experiment with props.
This four-session workshop is designed to inspire creativity and experience the ancient tradition of sharing a story with an audience.
Megan Houston Sager, facilitator, loves to tell stories. She is a teacher, writer and mother. She holds her Master's degree in Education from Smith College and has worked with kids as a writing teacher, on stage and in the classroom.
These substance-free events are alternative activities to promote healthy lifestyle choices. They are sponsored by the Municipal Alliance of the Mendhams, a part of the Governor's Council on Alcoholism & Drug Abuse.
